James Halliday awarded this wine 89 points and his tasting notes included: has a slightly dusty bouquet (not uncommon with cabernet) contrasting with the almost liqueur sweetness of the palate.

This wine was hand made exclusively from grapes grown at our Kew vineyard and benefited from four years of maturation in French and American oak prior to bottling. At the time of bottling we conservatively estimating cellaring for 5 to 10 years but this estimate has proven to be wrong. The wine is still improving and showing strong fruit character.
